For many gates, doors in offices, homes or public shops, hotels etc, the frameless swing glass door are widely used. Advantages include good lighting catching, easy installation and multi-combination possibility.
This time we OYPDLC want to share the smart film/smart glass wires connection for frameless swing door which there are top patch and bottom floor on.
As there is no frame around the glass for wire tube connection(click here to check the wires connection for framed swing glass doors and windows, bi-fold doors. ) , so we need to find out an alternative solution for this.
Because the is only top patch on the doors, so could we get any idea to let the wires going through the patch in top? (PS: Smart film/smart glass wires connection are always suggested to be done on top direction, because compared to sideway or bottom connection, top way will not have the long busbar location and less dust and humidity from the ground, which makes it beautiful and reliable after installation) The answer is Yes and we no need to use other extra accessories like before: just OPEN AN HOLE on the top patch joint part, see the pics below:

There will be a reach-out part from the joint on the top patch, take off the joint and open at hole on it in the middle, which lets the wires going through from smart film/smart glass to the power supply and power source. The entire wires connection diagram please check:

We could provide the hole opened patch joint if needed or hard for drilling the hole. But please note as there is different unit for patch with multi shape and sizes, so the joint we provide may not match the patch set you use, as a result, we suggest the best fit way is take off the joint and try to open an hole on it in the middle once you have confirmed patch set for installation.
