Switchable smart film busbar(electrodes) applying rules

Usually when we decide which side on film to make the electrodes, we need to confirm the width and the length Ratio. If the length-width ratio bigger than 3 : 1, then need to apply the electrodes on one long side or two short sides. Because only one short side electrodes are not enough to power the whole piece smart film, and the film transparency not the best.
